Penthouse Softball Team- East Coast
This month I just learned that there was also a Penthouse Softball Team based in New York City. This makes sense since the East coast and West coast seemed to each have thier own cliques. I know that the West Coast team was called "Penthouse Power", but I'm not sure if the east coast Team had a name, or were called the same thing.

The New York team was coached by Rick Roth, who was a former baseball player. Just like the west coast team, the east coast team played games to raise money for charity. They toured the U.S. in 1980 raising money for the Muscular Dystrophy Assocation. Rick was very proud of his team. He told reporters that the Pets were easy to get along with and quick to learn. "They listen to me more and don't question everything I say. I have to keep them in good shape, but I've been tremendously aided by mother nature!"

It appears that the west coast team may have been formed first, as early as 1977. I hope to learn more about this team in the near future.
