Cinderella (1945)
First off, the version that I would recommend of this ballet is the one shown to the right. It is performed by The Cleveland Orchestra as conducted by Vladimir Ashkenazy. This Cd was released by Decca Records, (Cat#289 455 349-2) in 1999. The double CD features the entire ballet and runs 2 hours, 29 minutes, and 30 seconds.  The ballet was begun in 1940, but halted because of the war, and finished in 1944. The first production was on November 21st 1945. This CD was recorded in 1983.
