| First off, a special thanks to Ranjit S. for giving me a copy of this video, I really appreciate it, and it has a special place in the Caligula Archives. I viewed this version on December 12th 2003, and was amazed at all the stuff cut, and stuff that was added. There must be a huge amount of extra footage out there to pick and choose from. Most of the new camera angles were side shots, meaning cameras that caught action from the side view, I noticed this mostly when Caligula does his dance at Tiberius' pool. Some differences between this version and the "Unrated" (Version #3 from our previous list) are this: -No snatch shot of Drusilla in the opening wood scene (It's towards the end of the scene when she lays on her side) -No mention of Marcellus' cock size in the bedroom banter in the opening scene after the credits. -The scene with the Sentry's cock tying are edited. -The blackbird scene with Drusilla in his bedroom is cut -The mud bath with the 3 Senators is cut. This includes Caligula's fantasy of the Torture Ward Scenes. (And they say Tinto wasn't brutal!) -Macro's Allegiance to Caligula is cut. -The two cock suckers from the secret room are cut. -The land dispute between the two Senators is cut -Ennia's banishment scene is cut -Caligula and Caesonia's fucking scene is cut -Macro's death is edited -The Rape of Livia, the scene is cut as soon as Caligula tells her to take off her clothes. -The Tryst Scene is cut, this is the scene after the rainstorm, in which Caligula, Drusilla and Caesonia get it on. And also the scene with Anneka and Lori. -Caligula barfs in the horse stable-cut -Incitatus in bed with Caligula-cut -The scene in which Caesonia over hears a plot to kill Caligula, Caligula apoligizes to Drusilla, and Caligula recites his will, are all cut. -The Senator who offers his life for Caligula-scene cut -Renewed interest in his work Scene-cut -Proculus' death scene-cut -The little white rat pulls a chariot (why?)-cut -A scene of the City is added, before we cut to.... -The birth of Julia Drusilla-edited -Drusilla died, this scenes not as edited as I thought it would, it still shows Caligula lick her from stem to stern. -The Jail Scene is edited -The Bordello scene is edited and some other light footage added -The Celebration Feast Scene is edited. -Charea's plot to kill Caligula is overheard...cut And there you have it folks, the differences I spotted between version number 3 and version number 5.
